1
Depart from Heathrow or your preferred airport for a scheduled flight
to Tokyo. Meals on board.
Day
2
Tokyo
Arrive at Narita Airport in Tokyo, you are met by your tour assistant
and transferred to your hotel by airport limousine bus for a 2 nights
stay in Tokyo. The rest day is at your leisure to adjust to the
9 hours time difference.

3
Tokyo
Today you will have a guided sightseeing tour of Tokyo (9.00-17.00pm)
using public transport (admission fees and transport price included
when with your guide).To provide you with ultimate flexibility you
can choose your own itinerary. See suggestions below;

1: Tokyo Down town: Tokyo National museum, Ameyoko Market,
Asakusa Kannon Temple, Sumida River Cruise, Hamarikyu garden and
tea break, Ginza shopping street.

Tokyo - MT Fuji - Hakone
Today
your guide will meet you at your hotel and will accompany you in
your transfer to picturesque Hakone National Park. The transfer
will be by public transport and weather permitting you will enjoy
panoramic views of Mt Fuji.
Deluxe
hotel upgrade will include dinner and breakfast in Hakone, whilst
staying in a Ryokan with private open air spa bath facilities.

Hakone
- Takayama
This
morning you shall be picked up by car from your hotel and driven
to Odawara train station to board the bullet train to Nagano where
you will meet your guide. Your guide will then accompany you for
the remaining express train trip to Takayama. (travel time approx
260min)
On
arrival in Takayama your guide will provide a tour of the area utilising
public transport.

Takayama
- Shirakawago - Kanazawa
We
start todays tour by taking a local bus to Shirakawago with your
guide. (travel time approx 120min). Shirakawago has World Heritage
designation and is truly a spectacular experience, which many
believe is the 'hidden treasure' in Japan. Visiting Shirakawago
is like stepping back in time, with uniquely crafted traditional
wooden farmhouses (Gassho-Zukuri) set in a beautiful mountainous
landscape.
After
the tour we transfer to Kanazawa by local bus with your guide.
(travel time approx 90min).

Site
seeing tour of Kanazawa using public transport includes a visit
to the Kenrokuen Garden, which is regarded as one of the
three most beautiful garden in Japan. and a stroll through the Nagamachi
Samurai house district, Omicho market, Chaya-machi and Kaga
Yuuzenn Products Hall.

Unassisted transfer by yourself to Kyoto by express train (travel
time approx 120min). Accommodation at the New Miyako hotel or similar.
Rest of day free at leisure.

Kyoto
Guided sightseeing tour of Kyoto (9.00-17.00) using public transport
(admission fees and transport price included when with your guide).

Mt Koya
(Dinner)
Transfer
to Mt Koya with your guide by express train (travel time approx
160min). Sightseeing tour of Mt Koya will be utilise public transport.
Mount
Koya is home to over 117 temples and is where we stay overnight
in 'Japanese style' accommodation at the magnificent Temple for
the Shingon Esoteric sect of Buddhism, which is still in use
by monks today. The peaceful temple is set in beautiful wooded mountainous
countryside, 1000m above sea level and is ideal to relax, meditate
and learn more of buddhist monk rituals (include:
Vegetarian 'monk style' Dinner at Temple).

Koya - Himeji -
Miyajima
(breakfast & Dinner)
Together
with your guide we leave Mt Koya to Himeji via Osako. This exciting
transfer includes taking a cable car and bullet train to
Himeji, where we will visit the impressive Himeji castle.
Later we transfer to Miyajima by bullet train and local ferry
to Miyajima. All fully accompanied with you guide to assist in transfers.
Traditional Dinner tonight will be at you Ryokan
(Japanese style inn) accommodation in Miyajima.

After
breakfast we take a guided site seeing tour of Hiroshima and Miyajima
using public transport. Our tour will include visiting Itsukushima
Shrine, Hiroshima peace memorial museum. Dinner will be at your
Ryokan accommodation.

After
breakfast we transfer by ferry and car to Hiroshima station to board
the bullet train to Osaka with your guide. On arrival in Osaka we
take a guided sightseeing tour including visiting Osaka castle using

Take airport limousine bus from hotel to the futuristic Kansai International
Airport in Osaka for departure to UK.
