Day
1 UK to Korea
Depart from Heathrow or your preferred airport for a scheduled flight to
Incheon Airport in Seoul, you are met by English speaking staff and transferred
to your Hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Day
2 Seoul
(breakfast inc) Half day guided tour to see the main sights of Seoul city.
Our tour will include the Blue House (Presidential Office), Chogesa
Temple and the Joseon Dynasty Gyeongbokgung Palace built in 1394. Day
3 DMZ
(breakfast inc) Full day tour to the DMZ; 53 years since the outbreak
of the Korean War, the 155 mile cease fire line from the east sea to the yellow
sea has created the Demiliterised zone, now a haven for rare wildlife and
symbol of both war & peace. Our tour includes visiting the 3rd North Korean
Army infiltration tunnel, Dora Observatory and Imjingak Pavilion.
Following our tour we will return to your hotel in Seoul. Note:
All visitors to the DMZ must conform to the stict dress code, access may be denied
to visitors wearing jeans, sandals, shorts, miniskirt, evealing clothes or military
style outfits. You must also have your passport on hand.

Seoul - Samhwasa
Temple (breakfast inc) Transfer
tour to Samhwasa Buddhist Temple where we will be met by the resident monks
Who will explain their life and rituals inside the temple. We will experience
ritual tea drinking, 108 bows, ringing of the Temple bell and have a delicious
vegetarian meal with the monks. A great experience for explorers who want to understand
Oriental cultures and meditation. Accommodation will be in the Temple. A
temple stay is a cultural experience designed to help people understand buddhism
in Korea. The stay offers various kinds of practicing methods such as Ceremonial
chanting, Zen meditation and tea ceremony. Participants can find their true self
and harmonise with nature while staying in the temple. Day

Samhwasa
Temple - Mt Seorak (breakfast
inc) Today we tour Mt Seorak located in stunning National parkland,
including a visit to Gwonkeumseong Fortress and 'moving rock'. Hotel
accommodation.

6 Mt
Seorak - Gyeongju (breakfast inc) We leave Mt Seorak and take a
transfer tour of Gyeongju where we visit Gyeongju National Museum, Anapji Pond,
Cheomseongdae Observatory and the Royal Tumuli Park. Hotel accomodation
in Gyeongju. Gyeongju
was the ancient capital of the powerful Silla Kingdom for 1,000 years. Gyeongju
has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site and is often referred to a 'museum
without walls' due to the numerous historic building, temples and artifacts present.

Gyeongju
(breakfast inc) Today
we take a facinating tour to see the Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto
before transfering to Busan via the Tongdosa Temple. Hotel accomodation
in Busan. Busan
is Korea's principle port and second largest city, with excellent beaches, outstanding
shopping and siteseeing opportunities. Day
8 Busan
- Jeju Island (breakfast
inc) After breakfast take a tour to see the wide variety of fish being sold
at the Jakalchi Fish market. Next we visit the UN Cemetery and beautiful
Yongdusan Park. After the tour we transfer to the airport for our one hour
flight to Jeju. The
semi tropical island of Jeju is a haven of beautiful natural settings and unique
traditional culture. Jeju's beautiful coastline, with it many cliffs and caves
and unique culture of the island dating to the ancint Tamna Tribal state makes
it Koreas premier holiday destination. Day
9 Jeju
(breakfast inc) Tody we will take a tour of the island including
visiting Jungmun resort, Yeomiji Botanic Gardens, Yakcheonsa
Temple and Cheonjuyeon water fall surrounded by sub tropical
vegetation. Day
10 Jeju
- Seoul (breakfast inc) Today we have a tour of Manjanggul cave,
the longest known lava tube sytem in the world at 13,422m in length. Next we visit
the Seongsan Rise peak before transfering to the airport for the flight
back to Seoul. Hotel accomodation in Seoul Day
11 Seoul - UK (breakfast
inc) Transfer
to Incheon airport for your flight to UK.

Accommodation for this tour For the 1 night Temple accomodation, you
will experience life of a buddist monk. Therefore, men & women separately
sleep at the Temple on stone floor with soft mattress. There is no private bathroom,
but public bathroom for men & women accomodation areas.
